WTF?
… here’s a giant, singing, carnivorous rabbit.
Hey, it makes about as much sense as anything else about Easter.

I don’t know what this video is about, but I like it.
Perhaps he should have skipped those last 19 slices of bacon

Only 19 slices of bacon? That’s not much at all!
I had the weirdest thing happen to me tonight.
I’ve had my Motorola q9c for almost 2 years and it has been a very reliable phone for me. Recently I’ve been thinking about upgrading to take advantage of some of the new technologies out there (Windows Mobile 6.5 for starters), but I haven’t found any new phones that had all the features that I frequently use.
Enter the Samsung Intrepid.
I just discovered this phone this morning and was able to stop by a store to check it out in person. Nice features, nice feel. Overall a well executed piece of hardware.
I thought about buying it while I was there in the store, but I really wanted to do some more research at home before making a decision.
As I was surfing through specs I looked at the battery rating for the Samsung, but I couldn’t remember what the specs for my Motorola were. Off came the back cover and out came the battery for inspection. Reassembled… and couldn’t turn the phone on.
It’s dead. Not like dead battery kinda dead, but like paperweight kinda dead.
Decision made. I’ll have a new phone in the morning
Updated:
I did go ahead and get the Samsung Intrepid

…and I can say that I’m not entirely convinced that it’s not a work of the devil.
Suffice to say that I’ve encountered a lot of problems with getting the device to work correctly, from syncing my contacts, to saving my browser favorites, to getting the backlight on the screen to do what I tell it to.
Granted this phone has only been on the market for a couple of weeks and is one of the very first Windows Mobile 6.5 phones to be available. I’m sure that within the next few months some intrepid (get it?) individuals will be able to tweek, hack, stuff, and massage all of the little annoyances.
I’m looking forward to applying whatever hacks come out, but man do I hate to wait.
